Only The Brave celebrates the creative practices of teaching artists—those who bridge the worlds of artmaking and education. Showcasing work across disciplines, it honors unique perspectives of artists who guide, mentor, and inspire others while continuing to cultivate their own vision. Through their dual roles, teaching artists shape both classrooms and communities, voices and conversations, minds and spirits, demonstrating that education itself is a powerful and necessary art form.

At a time when education, artistic liberation, and knowledge are under threat, Only The Brave teach and create. These voices uplift those who continue to teach and create those who believe that learning is not just the transfer of knowledge, but radical active resistance, possibility and love. These artists use both their creativity and their classroom to build pathways toward liberation.
